MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Women's Soccer hosted cross-state foe and Southern States Athletic Conference newcomer Thomas (Ga.) on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Barons (1-7-1, 1-5-0 SSAC) dropped the match to the Night Hawks (7-5-1, 3-2-1 SSAC) in a 2-0 defeat.
"The overall performance today was good defensively as a unit,"
Phillip Borde mentioned. "We made two mistakes and Thomas took advantage of that."
"Moving forward in the attack, we were stagnant in the first half and found a bit of a footing in the second," Borde added. "I can't fault the ladies for their effort. We are looking forward to the next match versus Blue Mountain."
