MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker Women's Basketball returned home to Gillis Gymnasium on Thursday night with an SSAC contest against Middle Georgia.
The Lady Barons (11-5, 4-4 SSAC) dropped the Knights (4-6, 2-4 SSAC) in a 72-53 victory, earning the first pair of back-to-back conference wins this season.
"We played well defensively tonight," Head Coach Steve Edwards said. "Middle Georgia always plays us tough because of the rivalry between the two schools. We have a ton of respect for their coaches and players."
"We are defending well," Edwards mentioned. "We have to be better offensively, and I believe we will."

- The game opened with a tight first quarter as BPC could only lead by as much as four points, yet the Lady Barons remained in control of the scoreline for most of the opening 10 minutes.
