FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Brewton-Parker women's wrestling returned to action this weekend with a trip to the Warrior Duals/Open hosted by Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Lady Barons finished the weekend with a 3-1 record in dual competition on Friday while several individuals wrestled in the open on Saturday.
For the individuals,
India Page highlighted the weekend with a first-place finish in the open 170 bracket. She opened with a 10-0 tech fall and an 8-0 decision before securing the title with a 4-1 decision in the championship bout, taking down two-ranked wrestlers on way to the title.
Leidaly Rivera earned second place in the 136 open bracket with two tech falls (13-0, 10-0) and a fall (1:07) before dropping in the championship match in a 6-6 decision.
Elora Waterman produced a top-five performance, earning fifth at 101 with a 3-2 record on Saturday.

#14 BPC vs #10 Indiana Tech – L, 37-17
After opening the dual with five straight losses, Rivera (136) switched things up for BPC by taking down Allyssa Pirro with a 12-1 tech fall. Page (155) downed Grace Doering with a 10-0 tech fall with
Katelyn Lewis (170) pinning (0:20) Catherine McNulty.
#14 BPC vs RV Siena Heights – W, 55-1
Waterman (101) opened with a forfeit win before
Gabriela Galvez (109) won by a 3-1 decision. Robinson (116) notched a 10-0 tech fall while Ali Rogers (123) picked up a forfeit win.
Madisyn Blackburn (130) earned a pin (2:59) followed by Rivera's (136) 11-0 tech fall. Ramos (143) won by forfeit followed by Ford (155) pinning (1:48) her opponent. The dual closed out with a fall (2:15) from Lewis (170) and a forfeit win from Pitts (191).
#14 BPC vs RV Lourdes – W, 41 -15
Galvez (101), Robinson (116), Hartfelder (143), and Page (191) all received wins by forfeits while the 109 bout was lost by forfeit. Rogers (123) fell by a 10-4 decision before Blackburn (130) produced a 10-0 tech fall win. Rivera (136) also notched a 10-0 tech fall followed by Ramos (155) getting pinnedd (3:00). Lewis (170) earned a pin (1:12) for the Lady Barons.
#14 BPC vs Hiram – W, 60-0
The Lady Barons picked up eight forfeit wins in the dual while Hartfelder (143) produced a pin (2:23) in her bout followed by Ramos' (155) pin (1:56), earning the sweep.
