HIALEAH, Fla. – Brewton-Parker Men's Soccer faced No. 19-ranked Florida National on Saturday evening.
The Barons (0-5-1) were downed by the Conquistadors (4-0) 6-0 on the road.
How It Happened | First Half
- Brewton-Parker had an opportunity to strike first with a penalty kick awarded in the 9th minute. Landon Brafford was given the chance but FNU's keeper saved Brafford's shot on goal.
- Florida National opened the scoring in the 11th minute and followed with goals in the 22nd, 25th, and 31st minutes to lead 4-0 after the first 45 minutes of action.
- The Conquistadors led the half with a 14-1 shot advantage.
How It Happened | Second Half
- Florida National added two more goals to the tally with goals in the 60th and 83rd minutes to eventually win 6-0 over the Barons.
- FNU outshot BPC 11-3 in the second half.
Inside The Statistics
- KU held the overall shot advantage, 25-4 while also holding a 14-3 advantage in shots on goal.
- Jamair Stewart earned the start and recorded six saves for the match.
