MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – Brewton-Parker College Esports' Rocket League squad has been in full force this summer by making major moves on the national stage.
The trio of Xavier Morales, Gabriel Ryan, and Shane Watson have been representing the Barons this summer, giving BPC national recognition in the Collegiate Rocket League scene.
Most notably, Brewton-Parker continues to compete in the Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) College Carball Association (CCA) Summer Series. In addition, the Barons secured a podium finish in a summer tournament series hosted by Generation Esports with a runner-up placement, earning a prize of $1,500 in scholarship funds.
As for the CCA Summer Series, BPC currently stands fifth among the 12-team field in the Division I East League. The Barons hold a 5-3 overall record and a 14-13 game record. The Division I East League boasts some of the most storied teams in Collegiate Rocket League in the likes of Akron (Ohio) and several others.
Brewton-Parker continues East League play tomorrow with games against Akron Gold at 8:00 p.m. ET and George Mason (Va.) at 8:50 p.m. ET. Both games will be streamed on the official CCA Twitch account.
