HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Brewton-Parker Women's Soccer continued their Southern States Athletic Conference road trip with a matchup against No. 5-ranked William Carey (Miss.) on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Barons (3-7-1, 0-2-1 SSAC) fell to the Crusaders (9-2-1, 5-0-0 SSAC) in a 5-0 defeat.

How It Happened | First Half

• Brewton-Parker's lone shot of the half came from Bailey Brandly but was wide right.
• William Carey dominated the half with three goals on a total of 20 attempts.
• The Crusaders netted goals in the 14th and 16th minutes before closing out the half with a third goal in the 43rd minute.

• In the 46th minute, Chloe Bailey recorded one of two BPC shots on goal as the Crusader keeper denied the shot.
• WCU scored just five minutes into the second half for a 4-0 advantage.
• Brandly produced BPC's second shot on frame in the 56th as the Lady Barons were denied yet again.
• William Carey scored the fifth and final goal of the match in the 60th minute.

• William Carey produced a total of 34 shots with 15 on goal while Brewton-Parker only recorded four shots overall and two on frame.
• Kelsie Stapler and Kayla Lane shared duties in goal. Stapler played a total of 71 minutes and recorded eight saves while Lane notched two saves in 19 minutes of play.
