Lady Barons Fall to No. 5 William Carey

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Brewton-Parker Women's Soccer continued their Southern States Athletic Conference road trip with a matchup against No. 5-ranked William Carey (Miss.) on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Barons (3-7-1, 0-2-1 SSAC) fell to the Crusaders (9-2-1, 5-0-0 SSAC) in a 5-0 defeat.

How It Happened | First Half

  • Brewton-Parker's lone shot of the half came from Bailey Brandly but was wide right.
  • William Carey dominated the half with three goals on a total of 20 attempts.
  • The Crusaders netted goals in the 14th and 16th minutes before closing out the half with a third goal in the 43rd minute.
