MOUNT VERNON, Ga. -- Brewton-Parker women's soccer fell in a tough 1-0 defeat against Warner (Fla.) on Saturday evening. The Lady Barons were unable to find the back of the net despite the pressuring attack on the Royals.

With the defeat, Brewton-Parker moves to 2-3 on the season. The Lady Barons took control offensively for a majority of the match yet struggled to break through the Warner defense.

How It Happened

• The first half came to a close with a 0-0 scoreline.
• Brewton-Parker led the have with seven total shots and four on goal while Warner recorded only one shot in the first 45 minutes of play.
• Early in the second half, the Royals were able to capitalize on minimal opportunities to lead 1-0 in the 59th minute.
• The second half finished with a narrow stat line as the Lady Barons managed to lead by one in total shots and shots on goal.
