Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Brewton-Parker volleyball program opened SSAC play at Faulkner (Ala.) on Friday night.
The Lady Barons (2-7, 0-1 SSAC) dropped the match 3-1 against the Lady Eagles (7-7, 1-0 SSAC).
How It Happened
- Faulkner opened the match with a 25-17 victory in set one to lead the match 1-0.
- The Lady Eagles would continue their successes into set two with a dominant 25-5 performance to move the match to 2-0.
- Brewton-Parker would not back down as they secured set three with a 25-21 effort to force a set four.
- With the match at 2-1 in favor of Faulkner, both teams battled in the fourth set, but the Lady Eagles managed to pull away from the Lady Barons 25-18 to seal the victory 3-1.

- As a team, Brewton-Parker totaled 29 kills on the night with Faulkner gathering 51.
- Noelle Primus led the way for the Lady Barons with nine kills while Jala Merriweather recorded eight. Primus also led with a .292 attacking percentage.
- Marina Dennis gathered 24 of BPC's 27 assists while Janessa Ortega gathered 15 digs. Taylor Scarbrough also recorded a double-digit dig performance with 11 on the night.
