Box Score MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Brewton-Parker volleyball program swept NCAA DIII opponent Agnes Scott (Ga.) on Tuesday night in Gillis Gymnasium.
The Lady Barons (2-6) gathered the sweep over the Scotties (0-6) with scores of 25-15, 25-16, and 25-23 for Coach Ashley Wingers' second win at the helm of the program.
How It Happened
- Brewton-Parker opened the match with a 25-15 victory in set one. The Lady Barons took control of the set with a 4-3 lead and would not look back, leading for the rest of the opening set.
- In set two, both teams traded blows as the score remained within two points for the first 20 points. The Lady Barons regained control and took the second set 25-16.
- Set three was the toughest challenge in the match as Brewton-Parker battled to gather the 25-23 win, sealing the match sweep.
- The Scotties controlled most of set three, but the Lady Barons fought their way back to tie the set at 23-23 apiece before clutching the final two points.

- As a team, Brewton-Parker totaled 27 kills on the night with Agnes Scott recording 18.
- The Lady Barons recorded a .123 hitting percentage while the Scotties recorded a -.037 percentage.
- Both Taylor Scarbrough and Noelle Primus notched seven kills each to lead the BPC attack. Scarbrough also notched three service aces in the match.
