MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Brewton-Parker volleyball program fell to Webber (Fla.) 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Barons (1-6) were swept 25-11, 25-16, and 25-11 by the visiting Warriors (8-4) in Gillis Gymnasium.

How It Happened

• The Warriors opened the match with a dominant 25-11 performance after the Lady Barons managed to hold the lead for seven points. Webber took control of the set once the tie was broken at 5-4.
• In set two, Brewton-Parker managed to keep within three points for most of the set before Webber took control, leading 14-13. The Warriors ran away with the set, closing it away 25-16 for the 2-0 lead in the match.
• Webber opened set three with 10 unanswered points over the Lady Barons. The Warriors finished the set 25-11 to seal the three-set sweep.

Inside The Statistics

• As a team, Brewton-Parker totaled 15 kills on the afternoon with Webber recording 33.
• Jala Merriweather led with five kills while the duo of Noelle Primus and Kinsley Jordan gathered three kills apiece.
• Marina Dennis led BPC with 12 assists and 11 digs.

Other Notables

• There was a total of four lead changes and eight tied scores in the first two sets.
