Box Score 2 MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Brewton-Parker volleyball program struggled to find winning ways on their road trip to Temple Terrace, Fla.
The Lady Barons dropped three matches over the weekend, moving to 1-3 on the season. BPC faced Florida College on Friday evening before taking on the Falcons on Saturday morning and Montreat (N.C.) on Saturday afternoon.
Match One | Brewton-Parker 0 | Florida College 3 (10-25,21-25,21-25) | Box Score
- The Falcons were able to sweep the Lady Barons in match one on Friday evening. Florida College gathered 36 total kills in the match versus Brewton-Parker's 24.
- The Lady Barons finished with a .061 hitting percentage while the Falcons closed out with a .185 hitting percentage.
- Kinsley Jordan led BPC with 12 kills followed by Jala Merriweather with five.
- Marina Dennis recorded 19 of 26 assists and led with 16 digs.
- Taylor Scarbrough notched three total blocks; two of which were solo efforts.
- As a team, BPC struggled with 18 errors in the match.

- The Lady Barons dropped match two versus the Falcons on Saturday morning. Florida College gathered 31 total kills in the match versus Brewton-Parker's 18.
- Brewton-Parker fought hard in the third set, trying to extend the match but the efforts fell short.
- Teishawna Hughes and Merriweather both notched five kills apiece, leading BPC.
- Jordan notched a team-high 14 digs in match two while Dennis gathered 14 assists.
- As a team, BPC totaled 48 digs, 18 assists, 18 kills, and 25 errors in match two.

- After an extended opening set, the Cavaliers managed to pull away from the Lady Barons in match three.
- Montreat gathered 39 total kills while Brewton-Parker tallied 24.
- Merriweather led the Lady Barons with nine kills in match three.
- Dennis led the squad in 14 assists and Jordan gathered 10 digs.
- The Lady Barons struggled in errors with 25 while the Cavaliers notched 17.
- Brewton-Parker totaled 23 assists and 40 digs in match three.
