LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Brewton-Parker women's soccer program fell 5-0 to (RV) Georgia Gwinnett on Saturday night in Lawrenceville, moving to 1-2 on the season.

The Lady Barons could not hold off the relentless attack from the Grizzlies and were unable to find a spark in their own offensive third.

How It Happened

• Georgia Gwinnett took an early 1-0 lead in the 9th minute with a cross coming from the left side into the 6-yard box, slipping past Kelsie Stapler.
• The Grizzlies added a second goal just a few minutes before the break off another cross into the box.
• Georgia Gwinnett out-shot Brewton-Parker 9-4 in the first half.
• The Grizzlies managed to add three goals in a six-minute timeframe (73', 74', 79'), moving the score 5-0 late in the second half.
• Brewton-Parker tallied four more shots in the second half while Georgia Gwinnett recorded six.
