Box Score BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. -- The Brewton-Parker volleyball program dropped its SSAC matchup against Blue Mountain (Miss.) in three straight sets on Saturday.
The Lady Barons (2-13, 0-6 SSAC) were unable to gain any momentum on the Toppers (14-5, 5-1 SSAC) who bested BPC for the 3-0 win.
How It Happened
- In the opening set, Blue Mountain opened with a dominant 25-9 performance for the 1-0 lead.
- In set two, the Lady Barons started slow but managed to equalize the set at 15-15. BPC captured their only lead of the set at 17-16 but BMC pulled away for the 25-20 win.
- During set three, both teams traded shots early, but the Toppers managed to gain enough momentum to ultimately win 25-13.

- As a team, Brewton-Parker recorded 22 kills while Blue Mountain recorded 46.
- Offensively, the Toppers recorded a .347 hitting percentage with the Lady Barons recorded just a .090 percentage.
- Kinsley Jordan led the team with six kills and 13 digs while Janessa Ortega gathered a second-best nine digs.
- Marina Dennis led with 15 of the Lady Barons' 22 assists.
- Noelle Primus recorded five kills with Jala Merriweather notching four.
- Brewton-Parker recorded 14 attacking errors with Blue Mountain picking up 12.
- Both teams notched six block assists each.
